To answer the question, the answer is a definite YAY. It's an awesome replacement for bananas in nicecream for those who are cutting down on their natural sugars. If you have been following our Instagram stories or reading our captions, you'd know that I am cutting down on sugar. This includes refined sugars, particular carbohydrates and starchy vegetables which are converted into sugar by the body, high glycemic fruits and my favourite veggies (sweet potatoes and beets wah). I was diagnosed with H-pylori and candida (oh the joy) a few months ago and I've been trying to beat it naturally with a balanced diet, herbs and loads of cruciferous vegetables. Unfortunately, I haven't been that strict on sugar which is why I am cutting it out of my diet for a while. But, I am still using natural sweeteners such as monk fruit. Anyways, enough about me let's talk about cauliflower! Not only does cauliflower provide you with a simple base for your nicecream, it's also creamy like bananas, white so you can have some fun with superfoods to colour it and bland which allows you to get creative with your flavouring. It's also amazing for you due to it's antioxidant levels and therefore, it's ability to fight of diseases and anti-inflammatory conditions. Cauliflower is also detoxifying and protective of one's digestive lining!
