Crispy Sesame Tofu Stir Fry

My mom bought us a spiralizer a few months back and we haven't made much use of it. To be honest I don't personally love raw vegetable noodles or just plain veggie noodles, but with a little bit of swauce and some light frying these babies can taste really good! It really is all about the swuace and what you make with them. So, we spiralized some zucchini and carrots and tossed them in a frying pan with tamari, sprouted tofu, sesame seeds, and a whole bunch of veggies to make a delicious stir fry.

Crispy Sesame Tofu Stir Fry Recipe

What you need:

  • 2 Large Carrots Rinsed & Scrubbed

  • 1 Large Zucchini Rinsed & Scrubbed

  • 1/2 Packet Sprouted Extra Firm Tofu

  • 2 Sweet Peppers Chopped

  • 8 Broccoli Crowns

  • 1/2 Cup Edamame

  • 1 Tbsp Organic Sesame Oil

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Black Sesame Seeds

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Tamari

  • 1 Tsp Ginger

  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

What to do:

  1. Spiralize carrots and zucchini

  2. Drain water from zucchini noodles

  3. As the water is draining, press water out of the tofu and cut into cubes

  4. Marinate tofu with 1/2 tbsp tamari, ginger, 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds, and cumin

  5. Place oil in a large frying pan or wok and bring to high heat

  6. Toss in tofu and let fry for 10 minutes (you can also fry it in an air fryer with 1/2 tbsp of oil)

  7. Toss in broccoli, edamame, and peppers and let fry for 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

  8. Toss in noodles, tamari, and sesame seeds and let fry for 5 minutes. Tossing occasionally. 

  9. Enjoy
