Everyday Greens Nicecream Bowl

I don't know about you guys, but me and Sam always feel better when we incorporate a bunch of greens into our diet. I love following an alkalizing diet a few times a year to boost my immune system, heal my gut, reduce acidity levels, and reduce inflammation. Eating greens gives me more energy, a clearer mind, and a very happy tummy. Whether you get your greens from a green juice, smoothie, salad, superfood blends, bliss balls, or smoothie bowls you'll notice the effect they have on your mind and body. If I know I won't have the time to make a fun greens filled salad for dinner, I'll make sure to get my greens in during breakfast. I love green juices, but I love green smoothie bowls and nicecreams because you can switch up the bases and get creative. Here's an everyday greens nicecream to introduce to your morning routine!

Everyday Greens (Avocado & Spinach) Nicecream Recipe

What you need:

  • 2 Frozen Bananas

  • 1 Cup Frozen Spinach

  • 1/2 Avocado

  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon

  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Water

  • 2 Tsp Freshly Grated Ginger

  • 1 Tsp Matcha

  • 1 Mint Sprig 

What to do:

  1. In a food processor, blend coconut water and frozen spinach until smooth

  2. Using a nut mylk mag or a super fine strainer, strain the juices leaving the chunks / spinach pulp (this is not necessary if you like the bits and pieces of spinach)

  3. Pour the juice back into the food processor and add in bananas, avocado, lemon juice, and mint

  4. Blend well

  5. Once it's fully mixed, add in matcha and ginger

  6. Blend well

  7. Scoop into a bowl 

  8. Optional: top with kiwi, pumpkin seeds, chia,  coconut flakes, buckwheat and hemp hearts

  9. Enjoy
